Filtration Canterbury was founded by Richard, whose career spans more than four decades working across agriculture, food production, and advanced filtration systems. Throughout this time, he has developed extensive expertise in water quality, process filtration, and the removal of contaminants from liquid systems.
Richard’s professional background includes senior operational roles within large-scale food and beverage production environments where filtration and water quality are critical to product safety, process reliability, and regulatory compliance. These industries demand precise filtration systems to maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and performance, providing Richard with a deep understanding of advanced filtration technologies.
Over recent years, Richard has focused specifically on water treatment and filtration solutions. During this time he has undertaken specialised training in Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, further strengthening his expertise in modern filtration methods and water treatment systems.
Drawing on decades of industry experience and a strong understanding of chemistry and filtration processes, Richard provides practical, science-based advice to customers seeking to improve the safety and quality of their water supplies. His work focuses on identifying and removing contaminants such as sediment, chlorine, nitrates, heavy metals, and microbiological impurities.
